I had nose surgery with the director at a plastic surgery clinic~~ An acquaintance had it done there, and after seeing how pretty their nose turned out, I decided on that hospital.. I was very stressed because I had a severe hump on my nose, so while undergoing functional rhinoplasty this time, I had a consultation and decided to remove the hump. Since my face is not very three-dimensional, I told the director I was worried about making my nose too high, and he said he would only shave down the hump without silicone and just enhance the nasal tip. So we decided to use ear cartilage for the nasal tip~
On the day of surgery, after the anesthesia wore off, I was half-asleep for 3 or 4 hours and had a headache, but after taking headache medicine, it settled down. Maybe because I tend to be a bit dramatic about pain, the day of surgery was a little hard for me. And because of the cotton packed in my nose, I slept with my mouth open, so my throat hurt a lot. So I slept with gauze moistened with water placed on top of the gauze.
The day after surgery, I went to have the cotton used for hemostasis removed, and it felt so refreshing.. That relief can’t be described in wordsㅠㅠ The feeling of my nose opening up was so good. They also gave me an injection to reduce swelling, and I received laser treatment to calm the swelling before leaving. From the evening of day 1, the areas where the cotton had been removed gradually started swelling, so breathing became a little uncomfortable, but it was still a bit better than when the cotton was packed in on the day of surgery because I could breathe through my nose;;
Even though it’s swollen, I’m so happy seeing the smooth nasal bridge without the hump from the side. I hope time passes quickly and the swelling goes down soon. Since I didn’t put silicone in the nasal bridge, I don’t have a splint on, and on day 7 I’m scheduled to go have the stitches and taping removed around the nose~ For the ear, they said they remove the cotton on day 7. I’m scheduled to do that that day too, so I’m just counting down the days~
