I’m very lazy, but today I finally made the rounds for the first time for my first plastic surgery.. Up until now I’d only looked things up on apps and the internet, but this place had the most natural-looking reviews and seemed like the results would be subtle, so I felt drawn to it. Personally, I wanted something that doesn’t look too obvious and looks natural!! So I came here first.
I woke up at lunchtime today and thought I might as well go for a consultation, so I called the clinic right away and asked about booking. Since it was a weekday, I was able to get a same-day appointment. I got there around 2 p.m. There weren’t many people, and my first impression of the clinic was good. It felt like a dental clinic or a dermatology clinic. I arrived 10 minutes early, filled out the chart, sat down and waited a bit, then a few minutes later I went in to consult with the manager..
Since it was my first time at a plastic surgery clinic, I hadn’t even thought about what to ask, and I just went there empty-handed without preparing any photos, which was a bit awkward.. Still, the manager was kind and gave me a really good consultation. When I said I wanted the outer corner widened and wanted to get rid of my narrow, corner-of-the-eye look, she explained it as a lovely widening procedure, explained how the surgical method differs from other hospitals, and asked what kind of eyes I wanted. I thought I should have prepared photos I simply said I wanted to get rid of that narrow-eye look and have the corners opened up clearly, without ending up with a D-shaped eye or hook-like side effects! As I mentioned earlier, they said their surgical method would not create a D shape or hook shape. Other side effects vary from person to person, but they showed me an album of other reviews and said a scar under the eye could appear dark like that. That level was okay.
There were also reviews from people who had revision surgery, so I looked at them carefully and got tempted, thinking this really must be a clinic that’s good at canthoplasty. They explained the side effects well too. I had already watched videos on YouTube, so I liked the procedure, and there was also a discount condition if you wrote a review (almost half price). They answered my rambling questions very well, so I was very grateful.
Then the doctor himself came over and checked how much the eye area could be opened, and he also slightly lifted my forehead to look at the length of the midface and the overall facial balance? Even though my double eyelids were uneven, he didn’t recommend any other surgery. He just said something like the depth and shape of my eyes were such that if I did canthoplasty it would be like this, and that my eyes weren’t the type where they could do a high double eyelid..? (Something like that.) The doctor’s consultation finished within 5 minutes, and including the time with the manager, I think I was consulted for about 20 minutes. I don’t know whether that’s long or short, but I guess it ended quickly because I didn’t have many questions? Anyway, everyone was kind. The surgical method, reviews, side effects, consultation, and cost all seemed fine, so I wanted to go ahead and set a surgery date there. But since this is my first plastic surgery, I should look around a few more places and choose the clinic before deciding? Anyway, that’s how it is.
If anyone has a clinic they recommend for outer corner widening, I’d be grateful to use it as a reference
