Let me briefly introduce myself... - I’ve already had nose surgery once - I’m insanely obsessed with my columella (I really hate how my columella looks right now) - The bridge is too high from the glabella, and the tip is also sharp? and high, so I don’t like it - Since the tip is too much, the overall nose looks too long, so I want to shorten it..
For my first surgery, I had about 4 to 5 mm of silicone inserted. Normally people think 3 to 4 mm is used, so this isn’t even that high, but no matter how much I think about it, I just can’t understand why it looks so high on my face lol..
That’s how I started thinking about revision nose surgery, and I visited five clinics in person. I’ll roughly organize everything, so if you want to read it, take a look and move on..
1. ㅅㅁㅇ They have pride in 30 years of experience, and the staff working there seemed to trust the director and work accordingly, so I went in expecting the consultation. After discussing lowering the height, I heard some slightly conservative comments like giving up a bit of loss or greed,, etc. Still, they ended by saying the columella seems like it can be lowered -> with a positive tone! Final: lower the silicone to around 2 to 3 mm, and use autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage for the tip
2. ㅂㄴㄴ Director ㅊㅇㅊ is the one in charge of nose surgery From the consultant’s explanation, I could feel how close they are with the director, and since they’re someone who’s seen the skill up close, they said a lot of confident things. (That they would definitely improve it, that it would definitely get better, etc.) + They weren’t just saying it either; they showed before-and-after photos.. (they were really pretty) I’d heard this place also clearly says what can and can’t be done, so I was a little nervous, but they said my nasal support isn’t weak and I don’t have capsular contracture, so lowering the columella is possible.
Final: replace with lower silicone, and for the tip you can choose autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage
3. ㄷㄴ It was hard to get a consultation here, and as expected the wait was insanely long.. there were quite a lot of people in the lobby.. It was the last slot of the day, so I was really tired, but since the wait was long..... anyway, it was supposed to be a good place, so I waited until the end. But this was the first place that mentioned AlloDerm, so I wondered what was going on (they said the skin seemed thin)
Final: replace silicone, AlloDerm for the tip (the price was astronomical..)
4. ㅇㅇ I had high expectations because the review photos looked good. + including experience They checked the line and showed how high it could be raised. I liked how kindly they examined me, but somehow I don’t have much to write down

5. ㅁㅈ The wait here was also enormous.. I almost couldn’t go to the other clinics They did seem to talk a bit while emphasizing same-day booking benefits, but when I said I needed to go to other clinics too, they just said okay right away. They suggested going with a straight-but-slightly-angled nose look, lowering the bridge a bit and adjusting the design so the tip wouldn’t become too short.

Anyway, to sum up: I decided to get revision surgery because I didn’t like the overall line of my nose, and I’m going with a place that clearly explained the surgical solution in a confident tone. I’ve already booked a morning appointment for next week....
