My nose had always been a complex for me, but I had heard a lot of stories that rhinoplasty inevitably causes side effects such as contracture/inflammatory reactions and leads to revision surgery, so although it was unfortunate, I wasn't thinking about surgery. Then at the end of last year, while eating dinner after work and watching YouTube, a rhinoplasty video by Director Hong was recommended by the algorithm, and I ended up watching it as if drawn to it. The fact that the director's surgical direction pursues extreme natural beauty without damaging the basic structure of the nose, and the dramatically faster recovery compared with typical rhinoplasty because of that, gave courage to someone like me who was afraid of rhinoplasty.
So I made time and went all the way to Suwon for a consultation, and after about a month of thinking, I had rhinoplasty at the end of last month, 3 months after the consultation. As the anesthesia wore off, I heard the director say, 'Ah, it turned out beautifully,' so I felt relieved for the moment. The next day, while removing the bandage, the nurse beside me also said my nose was so pretty, so I felt good even before looking in the mirror. When I checked my nose in the mirror, it definitely wasn't very noticeable from the front, but if I turned even a little to the side, the nasal tip was raised very naturally and the nasal bridge was slightly raised too, so I was very satisfied.
Just like in the YouTube video, even on the day of surgery, my nose didn't hurt at all, to the point that getting the injection hurt more. There is still a little bruising on my face, but there is almost no swelling, so it would not interfere with daily life even from the very next day. My only regret is that I wish I had gotten surgery from Director Hong a little earlier.... My satisfaction is as high as when I had LASEK haha. I'm on vacation right now, so I haven't returned to daily life yet, but I'm really looking forward to the reactions around me when I do haha
