After-before-after-after-after Hello. It’s been 6 months since my two-jaw surgery + 2 facial contouring procedures (square jaw, chin)!
I had surgery at Y Oral because of my protruding lower jaw, long chin, and facial asymmetry.
Now that 6 months have passed, I’m living my everyday life just like before surgery.
After surgery, my protruding lower jaw changed into a more typical jaw shape, and my face became more smiley. The sunken midface also filled out, so I’m really satisfied that when I smile, the cheekbone area looks plump. Everyone tells me I’m cute haha Since I gained confidence in my appearance, I think I’ve become a bit more outgoing. Even when meeting the opposite sex, I feel more confident? As for eating, I didn’t have much trouble even at 3 months, and now I can eat everything, whether it’s beef or lamb! But since I’m in postoperative orthodontic treatment, there are definitely some uncomfortable parts. When will this tiresome orthodontic treatment end... I want to remove the attachments stuck on my teeth soon..
The muscles in my lower jaw still haven’t relaxed yet, so when I tense it, it bulges out, but it’s not very severe, so I don’t really worry about it. haha The swelling around my philtrum seems almost all gone! haha I like that I look good in all photos. These days I’m hooked on four-cut photo booths. This is a surgery I regret not doing when I was younger. If you’re thinking about it, hurry and do it!!
