Before<before surgery>After<after surgery>I searched many hospitals for lifting and had a consultation at this clinic. After hearing their kind and detailed explanation, I decided right away~!
I had been concerned about deep cheek fat and the nasolabial folds, so I proceeded with a minimal-incision mini lifting procedure. They made an incision of about 4-5 cm near the temple area and performed the lifting. Currently, the largest swelling seems to have gone down to some extent, but there is still broad swelling around the cheekbone area and yellow bruising left. I had sometimes seen posts saying it gets okay within 2-3 days right after surgery, but I think you need to allow about 2 weeks for the swelling to settle somewhat. Until days 5-6 at first, I was very swollen, but I endured it while wearing the compression band and going for frequent walks, and from days 6-7 the major swelling started to go down noticeably, so I’m satisfied. On day 10, when the stitches were removed, it had gone down quite a lot. Once I reach about one to two months, I expect the numb/tingly feeling, the remaining minor swelling, and even the swelling around the cheekbones to go down much more.
