I went to consultations at Banana and OM, which I had looked into urgently because I developed contracture...
Originally, I had no nasal bridge and just had a typical low, bulbous nose. For my first surgery about 2-3 years ago, I wanted a natural look, so I had rhinoplasty using silicone 3 mm + ear cartilage.
But suddenly it seemed like a step-off was forming between the nasal tips, and when I was tired or stressed, my nasal tip would turn red and feel hot. Recently, I’ve been feeling that my nasal tip has become quite a bit shorter.
Anyone could see it looks like contracture, and sometimes there are even a lot of people who don’t know I had plastic surgery.. It was hard because I spent money on my nose and had no satisfaction at all, so I ended up getting revision rhinoplasty consultations.
Because of the step-off, I’m so disappointed with the nasal tip shape, and there’s redness too, so all I can think is that I need surgery soon...
I went to both OM and Banana in one day. I heard revision rhinoplasty is expensive these days, so I was already scared while going around...
I’ll write this briefly in an explanatory style here!
1. OM CT scan and photos - consultation with consultant - consultation with director - final consultation with consultant There were quite a lot of people waiting, so I waited a bit... (20 minutes? 30 minutes?) I went because I heard the doctor had many years of experience. But the consultation did not feel that detailed. Instead, I did get the feeling that if I had surgery there, it would go well. (The reviews are decent and it’s famous..) Revision rhinoplasty cost + autologous costal cartilage + bulbous nose correction + lowering the columella or nostril? etc. - 6-7 million won
2. Banana CT scan and photos - consultation with consultant - consultation with director - final consultation with consultant No waiting. There were about one or two people in the lobby. (Maybe because I went early?) Here, there is a director who only performs nose surgery separately. (ㅊㅇㅊ) After a calm, gentle style of basic explanation, they explained for 10 minutes how they would solve it. Revision rhinoplasty cost + autologous costal cartilage + bulbous nose correction + nasal tip defining point etc. - 5-6 million won
Anyway, that’s how I organized it. The materials and surgical methods are all pretty similar, so I think I’ll look around at more places I like and then decide. I haven’t placed a reservation deposit anywhere yet
