The review photos on Gangnam Unni looked really good, so I went to a plastic surgery clinic for the first time in my life.
The building felt a bit run-down, and the interior felt like a neighborhood clinic. The nurses seemed very cheerful and kind, and the director seemed like a good person.
During the consultation, he marked my eye line and said he would use his own method. It felt like a simple choice between, “Do you want the double eyelid to be visible, or do you want an inner double eyelid??” I got the impression that, rather than the patient’s opinion, he thought choosing for the patient based on his experience would lead to better results.
Ptosis correction wasn’t needed, double eyelid surgery was 1.3 million won, and lower eyelid fat repositioning was 1 million won. He also recommended nasolabial augmentation, but I’m a bit hesitant about putting something into my face, so I’m not considering it.
It was my first plastic surgery clinic visit, and it wasn’t a bad experience. Since I’m the type who finds things bothersome, I’ll probably just get double eyelid surgery and lower eyelid fat repositioning here.
