In the early period after surgery, I had a foreign-body sensation, and it was hard and painful to lift my eyes upward, so I was worried it might be a side effect, but after about a month, it got better! My skin is originally thick, so at two hospitals in Suwon I was told things like it wouldn’t look pretty, so I came to Seoul without high expectations. I got estimates at two places, and as expected, one place said that if I didn’t get a forehead lift, I would regret double eyelid surgery because of my puffy upper eyelids. It would be a lie to say I’m not bothered by the thick upper eyelid area, but I like that it’s more comfortable than before! The epicanthoplasty is uneven, but I’m just going to live with it ㅋㅋㅋ Not everyone’s eyes are symmetrical, after all~
