For reference, I went clinic-shopping from Busan to Seoul, so I had to visit them all in one day I thought I’d get exhausted if I went to more than 4 places, so I went to 3, and I was going to visit more if I felt it wasn’t enough after finishing them all But there was a place I decided on, so I didn’t go to more
ㅇㄷ (Apgujeong Rodeo) A very large-scale clinic for breast surgery, lots of people at the hospital, and there was quite a bit of waiting too The consultant first brought up doing accessory breast removal together I said I wanted an inframammary fold incision because of the recovery period, but she said, aren’t you going to do accessory breast removal, and if you do, it has to be a transaxillary incision.. so I did feel a little like my body was being fitted to a predetermined diagnosis rather than my own opinion Still, the consultation with the director was quite good I had heard a lot that he was blunt, but I didn’t feel that.. he examined me pretty thoroughly He also checked the position because nipple symmetry needs to be good, and except for gripping a little painfully.. it was okay He said if I go over 300 cc, my upper body would look bulky If I’m not planning to go above a D cup, he recommended the mid-to-late 200 cc range One unusual thing was that they said they don’t use a compression bra
ㅁㄱ (Apgujeong) I made the reservation after paying a consultation fee, but I was disappointed because I waited quite a long time.... I did implant fitting with the consultant first. Here too, before meeting the director, the consultation style was to first figure out what size I wanted and what implant I wanted I felt the director was kind. It felt like the diagnosis just flowed out of his mouth just from looking at my breast shape.. But in another sense, he didn’t measure dimensions like the breast pocket and just said 250 cc would be good, so I did wonder whether that size would be accurate The incision site didn’t matter, and for implants I was recommended either Motiva or Sebbin. But they said Sebbin didn’t have immediate supply volume, so it would be better to tell them a few weeks before surgery (also, either implant would be ok for surgery) The consultation ended sooner than the time I spent waiting, so that was a little disappointing Oh, they said they use an upper band instead of a compression bra here
ㅁㅂ (Gangnam) I arrived about 15 minutes late, but thankfully they kindly helped me start the consultation right away By this point, I was leaning strongly toward wanting surgery through a transaxillary incision, so I received a detailed consultation from the director about a transaxillary incision I asked the director about the incision size, the most uncomfortable part after surgery, recovery speed.. and so on He answered everything. It felt like if I asked one question, at least three answers came back..? I heard so much explanation that I even thought I should have made this my first consultation (of course I couldn’t have known before the consultation haha..) He said any incision site would be fine for my breasts, and since I wanted a transaxillary incision, he would operate so the incision line overlaps with the armpit crease as much as possible so it won’t show For size, I was recommended 265 cc, similar to the other hospitals If I wanted, I could go larger than that (he said my rib cage and breast pocket could support it), but when I looked at the fitting in the mirror, my upper body would look bulkier, and I was told this size was the most ideal for my body They said I would wear a compression bra for one month But I also heard that depending on the situation, I might be able to take it off earlier
That’s the end of my clinic-shopping My breast surgery is really coming up very soon now, and since I went all the way to Seoul to do these consultations, it felt like a waste not to share, and I’m writing this hoping everyone here can get some help from it After surgery, I’m going to stay near the hospital for up to one week.... haha It did cost more money than I expected, but I think that’s what will make me feel at ease Everyone, choose consultations carefully and I hope you get beautiful breasts If there’s anything else you’re curious about besides what I wrote, I’ll tell you as much as I can remember!
