Because of my dragon-shaped nose that was not corrected even after nose surgery, I looked into alar rim lowering and went for consultations at the two clinics I saw mentioned the most! I went to B&Young twice, so I’ll write the reviews in order
1. B&Y
I had my first consultation with Director Kim In-sang. When I first went, he seemed a bit tired and busy, so I couldn’t ask my questions properly He looked at my nose and only told me that it could be corrected with alar rim lowering, then I had a price consultation with the consultant and left
2. R****
This was a clinic I had high expectations for. Before making a consultation appointment, they said they would look at photos of my nose and let me know whether a consultation was possible, so I sent photos before the consultation. The person who consulted with me showed the photos to the director and then let me know. They said alar rim lowering was possible, but that the dragon-shaped nose would not be completely improved. After that, I went for an in-person consultation
At the consultation, the consultant was so unfriendly. As soon as I sat down, she abruptly and very confidently listed only the side effects of alar rim lowering (enlarged nasal tip, inability to improve the dragon-shaped nose, scar tissue, etc.).... She didn’t say that these side effects could occur; she said things like, “You’ll get scar tissue, your nasal tip will get bigger,” so I was a bit taken aback
After that, the director also did a virtual simulation with Photoshop and said that the nostrils would be covered, but the dragon-shaped nose would get worse and become more of a V shape. When he saw my expression, he said, “Your expression is getting bad. There are many people like this.” (The reactions from the consultant and director made me feel like, ‘Ah, many people must have come here and gotten angry when the surgery they wanted was not possible’)
3. B&Y second consultation
After hearing at R**** that the dragon-shaped nose absolutely could not be hidden and would not improve, I was confused, so I went back When I told Director Kim In-sang what I had heard at another clinic, he smiled and said, “Maybe it’s a clinic that can’t correct a dragon-shaped nose?” Fortunately, during this consultation, he kindly answered everything I was curious about He said the dragon-shaped nose would definitely improve, and that when the upwardly exposed nostrils are covered, the curve of the nostrils may not be perfectly smooth
That’s it for my consultation review! Since my nose has a dragon-nose shape, I think Rococo considered it a difficult case.. Anyway, after today’s consultation at B&Young, I scheduled the surgery and left! Everyone’s nostrils are different and whether surgery is possible also varies, so please use my review only as a reference and try going for an in-person consultation!!
