I visited 2 clinics this time, and I'm planning to visit more. I'm writing this partly so I can look back on it later, and I'll leave it here for reference.
ㄹㅂㄹ (ㅜㅡㅡ) Sinnonhyeon Exit 3 / CT scan available It was my first nose consultation, so I hadn't prepared photos or questions, but fortunately the director picked up on everything and explained it for me. After listening to the nose style I wanted, they explained things together while looking at the CT. They said my nasal bridge itself isn't completely flat, so if I don't want too much, correcting the hump and placing a low silicone implant would be fine. (But since I firmly asked for a glamorous style, we discussed a higher silicone implant again.) They said if silicone over 4 mm is inserted, the nostrils may look relatively more visible from the front, and if I want to avoid that, they recommend leaving the nasal bridge as it is and only raising the nasal tip. Even so, if I want to raise the bridge more too, there is also a method of using costal cartilage to make the support strut firm. I liked that they explained surgical methods I hadn't even thought of in detail. Since that was exactly why I went for the consultation, I think I chose the clinic pretty well.. ★Hump correction + bulbous nose correction + silicone + donated rib cartilage + septal cartilage★ They said I can choose between autologous costal cartilage and donated rib cartilage, whichever I want. I still don't know which one I'll choose, so I couldn't book yet.. I heard the costs for both autologous costal cartilage and donated rib cartilage.
ㅅㅇ (ㅣㅜ) Sinnonhyeon Exit 4 / CT scan available This consultation was also very helpful because the director's answers were quite detailed. I was worried my nose might have a strong bulbous-nose tendency and not correct properly, but they said my skin type is neither thick nor thin, so it's okay, and since my nasal tip is lower than my bridge, it's an easy case for bulbous nose correction while raising the tip. However, they said alar base reduction should be done together for a good effect, and the director seemed to pursue a natural-but-refined look. I was a bit hesitant about alar base reduction.. so I asked whether it would be okay if I put in a high silicone implant, but they said silicone goes up to the area above the alar cartilage, so it has nothing to do with the nasal tip + nasal alae. ★Hump shaving + alar base reduction + silicone + donated rib cartilage + septal cartilage★ They said septal cartilage alone would have difficulty serving as a support strut and that donated rib cartilage should be used. I heard they roughly recommend a silicone height of 3 mm-4 mm, since the nasal tip has to be higher than the bridge.
That's how I finished the two consultations. I wrote the locations because the two are close, so I thought it would be good to visit them together, but neither is that easy to book.. so I think it would be best to aim for a weekday morning like I did.
