Since I usually care a lot about how clothes fit, I used to wear heavily padded bras tightly against my body. Maybe because of that, even breathing felt constricted, and I thought it would be nice to have volume even without wearing underwear. This time I had a bit of time, so I decided to go for it and researched hospitals online and in person.
I went to consultations at several places, and after considering various things overall, I decided this place seemed better.
Most of the directors were men, but while consulting with the female director at Melon, what I felt was that she observed every part of my body more carefully and explained things to me, which helped me make my choice.
Even at the first consultation, she first showed me images of the look I wanted, so I thought, oh, she is suggesting this before I even bring it up. It was like when we go to a hair salon and bring a photo saying, please cut it in this kind of style~ except she brought up those kinds of images first. Anyway, I got a good feeling from it :)
The hospital atmosphere was bright, and the managers seemed to move in a systematic way. I was worried and had a lot of questions, but I liked that they answered everything thoroughly.
What I was most worried about before surgery was whether they would look too big afterward and make it obvious right away that I had surgery, whether I would be unable to carry things even though I had to carry luggage from time to time, and how severe the pain would be and how long it would last.
Thankfully, it was not as obvious as I expected, and I was able to take about the first 5 days off and rest. After that, as long as I did not raise my hands upward, it was possible to carry things with my hands down. The pain was more manageable than I expected. I ate my meals and took my medication exactly as instructed, and although getting up was quite difficult, it got better as time passed.
Two days after surgery, I went to the hospital and saw them for the first time inside when the bandages were removed. Honestly, at first, seeing the changed appearance, they were so roundly swollen and protruding that I had a mental breakdown and wondered if I had done this for nothing. But after a day or two, the swelling started going down little by little, and the side view looked okay, so I am just waiting for time to pass. Maybe because of scoliosis, there is some difference in the position of the nipples on both sides, and the left side seems to protrude outward a bit from the thoracic cage, so I am going to watch how that changes too. I am hoping they change into a natural look without complications.
She is a meticulous female chief director, and they offer lifetime aftercare, take care of various things, and the price was reasonable, so I think I made a good hospital choice. Everyone, become prettier~~ ^^
