I had revision surgery because a problem developed at the very, very tip of my nose. This time I didn’t search online; among my friends, some had nose surgery, and I went to a clinic where the results were good. My friend is a serious planner, so she researches things like this incredibly thoroughly, and her revision rhinoplasty turned out so well that I also went for a consultation and ended up having surgery there. I went to other clinics too, but the clinic where I had surgery had the director who showed me the most before-and-after photos, and there were many other places that wouldn’t show them when I asked to see before-and-after photos. Or they would show completely different cases...? Since I have experience with plastic surgery too, when I listen during consultations, I think I can get a feel for things and filter places out.
This director was full of confidence in rhinoplasty, and it felt like he had built up know-how from operating on many different cases. It seemed like he had an enormous amount of case-by-case data. I said I wanted it to come out natural, and I had the surgery, and it turned out really well! The nasal tip is really pretty, so I hear so often that my image has become more refined lol
Originally my dad really disliked the idea of me getting revision rhinoplasty, but he said the surgery turned out well and that it’s better than before. Coming from my dad, who is very negative about nose surgery, that is huge praise lol
The nasal tip has a bit more shape and was projected a bit more, but it doesn’t make my midface look long and it doesn’t make me look older either lol
What I felt is that for revision rhinoplasty, it’s much better to go to a specialist in revision rhinoplasty. The depth of the consultation is different, and the surgery feels like it’s designed in a detailed way!!
