My rhinitis wasn’t improving, so I went for a functional nose examination and consultation. It was my first plastic surgery consultation, and thinking back now, I feel like I just went in totally clueless. It was Saturday afternoon, but there weren’t many people, so I had a CT scan right away and went into the consultation. I have nasal valve stenosis, but the manager and the director said different things about whether it would be covered by indemnity insurance, so I was confused. The director asked me what nose shape I wanted, but I hadn’t really thought about it before going, so when I told him what I didn’t like, he said it seemed like just doing the nasal tip would be enough. Both the director and the manager were on the kind side. After looking into it, I think I heard this place is good at noses, so I plan to visit again, this time requesting a different director.
