Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Only the silicone was removed, and ear cartilage remains in the nasal tip

This happened a long time ago, but these days, while going around for revision surgery consultations, I’m painfully realizing how stupid I was 6 years ago.

Back then, I got talked into it by internet brokers and had rhinoplasty at a clinic packed with Chinese tourists.

The price was cheap, it was closed rhinoplasty, and they said it was a simple surgery.

They put as much as 4 mm into my small nose, so it was obvious, and since they inserted it without correcting my deviated nose, it was super obvious.

When I said it was crooked, they said they could briefly open it 2 weeks later and push it over. That was the start of the inflammation. For 6 whole months, they refused to admit there was inflammation, and only after I kept going to the clinic did they finally admit it 6 months later and say they would replace the silicone.

I was lying on the operating table, but because the inflammation was worse than expected, they woke me up while I was under anesthesia and said they couldn’t put in a new one. What was I supposed to do...? It felt like they wanted to hear me say, “Just close it up.”

So they only removed the silicone, and I ended up with a pig nose.. I didn’t want to ever have surgery again, so I stayed away from it, but these days it has healed as much as it can, so I’m trying to fix the pig-nose look a bit, and I’m going all over the place looking for revision surgery clinics!

The female doctor who ruined my nose back then left that clinic and went back to the well-known clinic she originally worked at.

When I think about that time, it still makes my teeth chatter...ㅎ
