I went to three places for consultations, and maybe it’s also because I’m originally impatient, but at the first two places they kept saying my eyes would turn out well if I got epicanthoplasty, so they were pretty attached to the idea of epicanthoplasty. I asked, wouldn’t my eyes look too close together if I got epicanthoplasty here? They said that amount would be fine, so my easily swayed ears were kind of fluttering, you know?
But this doctor also brought up epicanthoplasty, so I asked the same thing about the width between my eyes, and they said that was true and that there was no need to do it, so I trusted them and went straight in as the last surgery that day.
When I was lying on the operating table, I said I wanted to check the line again, and the nurse seemed a little troubled (I think because they had to remove the cloth?? things already covering my eyes), but the doctor told them to just let me do it, so I checked the line again right before surgery.
What I wanted was a completely natural inner-double-eyelid level, so I kept asking them to lower the line, and they were like “more? more? more??” then went “Aha, got it lol” and performed the surgery. After it was over, they came by and asked if I checked it, saying it turned out so well and seemed proud, so I thought, is it really that good...?
In the end, it came out exactly with the line I wantedㅋㅋ No one knows I had surgery. Even from day one the swelling wasn’t bad, so I had surgery 4 weeks before the semester started and entered school, but none of my classmates knew either.
Before surgery, I had monolids that people told me not to touch, but everyone says it turned out so well and asks which clinic I went to. The line is so natural that even my middle/high school classmates can’t really tell from my selfies whether I had surgery. I’m so satisfied bb
