I had a slightly droopy hump nose with a bulbous nose, and I had surgery without implants, using autologous costal cartilage, with a nearly straight, semi-straight line. I already had some nasal bridge height, so I did it without silicone and without implants, but now it looks so Pinocchio-like... I asked for it to be naturally rounded, so the shape is round, but the height itself is high. From some angles it looks okay, but with the rear camera it looks really high. Since it’s autologous costal cartilage, I don’t think it will come down much, and when I try photoshopping it, the amount I want it lowered is nowhere near something swelling could account for, so I think I’ll need AS/revision. From the nostril view, the asymmetry on both sides is also severe, and one side feels pinched (it was slightly asymmetric even before surgery, but it got worse after surgery). If anyone here has gotten AS/revision, please share your review,, I’m curious whether lowering the nasal tip is possible with a closed approach / how the line changed when lowering the nasal tip / whether there are any precautions about shape changes / and whether it’s much better to wait and do it closer to 1 year rather than 6 months.
