Please help me… It’s been over 10 years since my nose surgery. There used to be a slight straight-line gap between the original rounded part of my nasal tip and the silicone… The area between the silicone and the nasal tip was slightly indented!!
But as I’ve gotten older, maybe because it’s sagging and has been damaged, that indentation gradually got worse, and recently, suddenly, above that indented line, the silicone looks a bit lifted? It’s showing through It’s even gotten red… The doctor who did my surgery said it just looks that way because the nasal tip has dropped more, and that there’s no inflammation or abnormality. When I said I was worried because this happened so rapidly, he said there are no cases where the end of the silicone breaks through the skin, and that only ever happens with L-shaped silicone…
I’m so worried. I’m in a job where it’s hard to take vacation, so every single day is full of anxiety. Is there anyone like me?? (I’ve made an appointment at another hospital for now. I’ll leave a review!)
