I went to D-Day Plastic Surgery for a nose consultation. I went in, registered, and waited about 3~4 minutes? I sat down and was about to turn on my phone to do something, but they immediately took photos and then I had a consultation with the consultant. The consultant was pretty and looked like some celebrity? I kept trying to think who, but I still can’t remember. The consultant asked very detailed questions, asked about the shape I wanted and celebrities, and then after waiting briefly, maybe another 5 minutes? I had the director’s consultation. I booked the consultation because people said the director’s consultation was really good, and just like the rumors, he looked at everything meticulously. He used something like a cotton swab to lengthen my nose and said this kind of shape could be expected. He looked at my photos and checked the bridge line and tip line, and also showed me CT images while explaining that my septum was this size, and explained septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage. At other clinics, they decide the materials in advance and tell you, so I asked why he doesn’t decide first and does it later. He said that if he tells me in advance about materials that may not even need to be used, then they have to be used, but if the septum is sufficient after checking the situation, ear cartilage or costal cartilage may not be needed, so that’s why he explains it this way. He placed silicone against my nose and told me the line would come out like this, so it was easy to understand and I could picture how I would look after rhinoplasty. After that, I consulted with the consultant again and went over the cost. They explained in detail why each cost was added and how much (at other clinics, they didn’t tell me the breakdown and only gave the total cost). The rhinoplasty cost was also the lowest among the places I visited. There was no pressure to book, so I didn’t make a reservation, and we decided to talk again later by KakaoTalk or phone. It’s not confirmed yet, but I think I’ll do it at D-Day. The posts saying the consultation was meticulous don’t seem to have been written casually.
