Before after after Things that stressed me out -The right cheekbone was larger, giving me an asymmetrical face shape -No volume in the anterior cheekbone area -My jaw wasn’t a major concern, but I was worried it would look more prominent after cheekbone surgery
After the consultation, they said all of those could be resolved with facial contouring surgery, and most places recommended 3 types. At first, hearing “3 types” scared me, but since all the other hospitals also recommended 3 types, I accepted it. The position of the nerve line on CT was on the okay side, and they said the effect would be good if I did the 3 types.
After considering the hospital overall, including aftercare, consultation with the doctor, and the doctor’s experience, I decided! It’s now been 2 weeks since surgery. The first week was very hard. I couldn’t adjust, couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep well, and my daily life was very limited. Now in week 2, I’ve adjusted to some extent, and I’m enduring eating liquid food by thinking of it as dieting. They said I’ll still be able to eat soft foods starting next week, so I’m waiting. The swelling has also gone down compared to the beginning, so my face shape is starting to come back to life little by little! I can definitely feel some difference before and after, so I feel satisfied. I’m forgetting all the hard parts and focusing on reducing the swelling!! I’m currently looking forward to how it’ll be once all the swelling is gone!!
