I'm 3 weeks post-op after autologous costal cartilage nasal tip surgery and nostril reduction, and discharge keeps hardening in my nostril, so I went to the hospital. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be from the surgical site, but they said it seems to be coming from blood pooled in the inner mucous membrane. They said they'll monitor the progress, and if the mucous membrane stays swollen, they may have to drain it. I got an antibiotic injection today and took medication, but discharge keeps coming out Has anyone here had the pooled blood drained and gotten better?
