Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I got my 67-year-old mom a facelift, and she is recovering better than expected haha

My mom is 67, and it has been about six weeks since her facelift. She used to say, “Why have surgery at my age?” but one day she said she hated the wrinkles on her neck and the sagging skin under her chin. After seeing a relative’s facelift, she wanted to try it too, so I researched clinics for her. Because of her age, I was somewhat against it, but she really wanted it, so we went to consultations together and she ultimately had surgery with Dr. Kim Hyeong-gyu at [Clinic A]. For several days after surgery, she had swelling and was uncomfortable with her sleeping position, so I was worried watching her. She especially said her neck felt tight when she moved it, and I worried something might be wrong, but she gradually improved while her recovery was monitored. After a month, the sagging under her chin looked much more refined, and the line connecting her neck and face looked cleaner than before haha. My mom never expected every wrinkle to disappear; she just wanted her face not to look so droopy. These days she puts more effort into makeup when going out and takes photos more readily than before. Recently, she said first that she felt she had made the right choice having surgery, and hearing that made me feel relieved too. haha. She still has some stiffness in her neck, so she is continuing follow-up care and management. I was very worried at first, but I feel proud because she is happy.
