It has been one month since I received autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty from Dr. Kim Hyun-joo at Are U Plastic Surgery. The major swelling seems to have gone down a lot, and the tight, uncomfortable feeling in my nose right after surgery has almost disappeared. The columella and autologous costal cartilage donor-site scars also seem to have healed well. Since I have been caring for them according to the clinic's instructions, everything is settling in without major problems. Even my friends and family, who initially tried to dissuade me from rhinoplasty, say it looks good; I think the weaknesses of my original nose were improved while keeping harmony with my face.
