Last August, while I was considering surgery because my nose was large and asymmetrical, I went to GNG, a large hospital that also performs rhinitis surgery.
I hadn’t studied much about plastic surgery before going, so I thought everything the doctor said during the consultation was correct, booked right away, and went ahead with surgery too..
My nose became even stranger.
It got longer and more masculine-looking. It didn’t get smaller either. They said osteotomy was needed to correct a deviated nose, so I had osteotomy too, but the deviated nose was not corrected at all.
When I went back 6 months after surgery and explained the situation, they answered that a deviated nose is something that can’t be helped. The consultant’s attitude also changed and became extremely rude.
Every time I look at old photos, I regret it so much.. When I got consultations at other hospitals for revision surgery, I was told that the inside of my nose is also a mess, so they don’t know whether revision surgery will go well.
Never get cosmetic surgery at an ENT hospital. If your rhinitis is not so severe that you can’t breathe, don’t get surgery.
