It’s already been 6 months since I removed the silicone. After getting my nose done, there wasn’t a single moment I was satisfied, and the discomfort was severe, so I had it removed after 3 years. Maybe because they set the line too high during surgery, I always had pressure at the nasal tip, and the line looked totally overdone, so people around me also said I looked much better before surgery. I gave up on early removal because the clinic talked me out of it, saying it would become natural. I finally removed it now.
Originally, I hated my current nose so much that I wanted to take everything out completely and go back to my original nose, but almost all the clinics I went to for consultations scared me by saying that if I removed everything up to the nasal tip, it would turn up a lot, so I kept the nasal tip and had cartilage repositioning.
At first I felt regretful that I couldn’t take everything out, but I’m trying to think positively, since what’s left is my own cartilage, so it should be okay. Honestly, the line is prettier than my original nose, and the tenderness is gone too.. But the nasal tip is firm, and when I touch the nasal bridge and nasal tip, they feel different. It’s not an uneven contour, just the sensation is different. Still, there’s no visible bothersome issue or side effect yet, so I’m trying to be satisfied~~
