Looking at it now, it is almost amazing that I somehow lived with it like that.
The second photo was taken after removing the stitches and taping. There was almost no swelling, and the surgical area was slightly raised and bumpy.
Around day 5 to after 1 week, the protruding flesh had settled down a lot, and from then on I went outside wearing a hat.
From the third photo onward, the photos are from a few months later, around when all the red scarring had disappeared.
Oh, and in the second month, I developed milia and had them treated at the clinic. Until about 2 months, my eyes felt stinging, so I used a lot of artificial tears, and now the stinging symptoms are gone.
After revision epicanthoplasty, the blunt area improved a lot, and especially it became naturally V-shaped, which is amazing. My impression feels more defined, and before, even though I had epicanthoplasty, when you looked only at my eyes, the blunt area made them look a bit stuffy and it was a complex for me. But I think the current shape came out really pretty. I truly felt how important choosing the doctor is. If I had known the results could be this different, I should have done it earlier. I can’t believe I left it alone for 10 yearsㅎㅎ Since it was revision surgery, I had even more worries, but as expected, after enduring it and waiting, I think I got a good result. Actually, I had seen many people suffer after getting revision epicanthoplasty and having it fail again. I was scared that might happen to me too, and I worried a lot about whether the shape would really become pretty. Even after getting the revision surgery, I felt so nervous every single day. Looking in the mirror, I kept saying to myself, “The surgery went well, so don’t worry! Let’s go!” I kept hypnotizing myselfㅠㅠ After the second month, I could see it improving noticeably day by day, so I look in the mirror every day with an excited heart. I still need to recover a bit more, but once the shape and eye line become completely natural, I’ll post another review.
