Before-before-after-after-after Hi everyone! It’s almost been three months since I had breast surgery, so I’m going to write a review.
I used Mentor Smooth implants, and put the same size, 350cc, on both sides. I’m still unmarried and in my 20s, so I worried a lot about the incision site, but while reading reviews, it seemed like most people who had surgery through the inframammary fold had scars that naturally faded over time, so I also got it done through the fold~
I took a monthly leave from work in advance and had surgery on Friday. It takes about 40 minutes by subway from Sinsa, where the hospital is, to my house, and it felt strangely new to ride such an empty subway on a weekday morning after so long.. lol I wasn’t as nervous as I expected on the way there, but I think I suddenly got really nervous from the moment I met the director before going into the operating room and started hearing all the explanations. Still, during the consultation, the director carefully checked my body measurements and explained the method for breast surgery, side effects, and even details that ordinary people don’t really know, so I trusted him and was able to go through with the surgery. Honestly, once the anesthesia started kicking in.. haha my eyes just shut and I didn’t think about anything... hehe
A lot of people say that after surgery you can’t go home alone, or that it feels like an elephant is stepping on your chest, but strangely, for me it was quite bearable. I went home bravely by myself and even made myself meals! The only thing was that when I lay down and got up, my skin felt a bit tight, so it was slightly difficult, but that got better quickly in a day or two haha
By one month, the major swelling had gone down to some extent, and I only wore the compression bra until then. As for the feel, after passing two months I could feel it slowly softening! I had thought Mentor Smooth’s soft, squishy texture was its advantage, and once my own tissue covered the implant, it really felt almost as good as natural breasts... I’m really satisfied with my breast surgery.
