Before< Before dual canthoplasty: I had lateral canthoplasty 3 years ago and got no effect, and it closed back up. When I looked at the outer corners of my eyes, they felt blocked, and my horizontal eye length looked short, kind of stuffy? ><Secondary canthoplasty - I had dual canthoplasty (lateral canthoplasty + lower canthoplasty) and tried makeup!>When I wear makeup, my eyes look bigger and doing makeup feels fun lol And it looks natural When I see poorly done cases, the back part looks a bit loose? and overly doneㅠㅠ Mine turned out with none of that at all, and the space at the outer corners definitely widened, so my eyes look more refreshed and longer horizontally!
The conjunctival edema also disappeared cleanly, and I think all the swelling is gone! Honestly, after a week there was almost no swelling lolol I’m still scared to touch or rub my eyes, so I’m being careful, but when I close and open my eyes, do makeup, cleanse after makeup, or when I blink, there’s no foreign-body sensation or anything catching in my eyes. I’m living as if I’ve even forgotten that I had dual canthoplasty lol I think it’s a very comfortable surgery lol It feels like a procedure
Hmm, every time I look at my eyes, I feel like I really did the right thing getting the surgery lololol I was stressed because my outer eye corners were upturned and looked stuffy even with makeupㅠㅠ Now that my eyes look opened up after surgery, I don’t even draw the triangular zone separately when doing makeup, and just drawing eyeliner makes my eyes look pretty, so I think I end up wearing less makeup! Thanks to that, I often go to work with bare eyes and no makeup, so my quality of life in the morning has improved lol Even removing just one step of eye makeup in the morning saves this much time and feels so convenient lol
Back when I didn’t know much and got canthoplasty at another hospital, nothing changed at all, and it closed right back up, so I kept thinking I had just wasted money. But now my outer eye corners have naturally lowered, and they’re opened just the right amount, so I’m continuously satisfied lol
I did my own research pretty hard, thinking I should get secondary canthoplasty again!! If canthoplasty goes wrong, the eyes can look really awkward. It also feels like it can ruin your whole impressionㅠㅠ But thankfully it turned out well, and I think the canthoplasty looks natural and suits my face well too. When I take photos, my face is definitely different compared with when I first failed lateral canthoplasty after having dual canthoplasty! The cost was also cheaper than I expected, so I’m even more satisfied!
