After complete removal for contracted nose/ I had silicone, Medpor, the capsule, and scar tissue completely removed, and amazingly, the contracture completely disappeared and my nose returned to my natural nose.
I was happy because the nostrils that had been upturned until before the splint removal came down well, but after removing the splint, now on day 4... since the silicone that had deviated to the right was removed, that area is depressed compared with the left nasal bridge. I saw in a few reviews that this area can rise back up over time as the skin tissue normalizes, but will it really come back? ㅠ
There is still swelling, and it has only been 10 days since surgery, so I know I should wait a bit longer, but my natural nose was not hump-nosed, and I did not have my nasal bridge shaved down, yet it looks indented? sunken? pressed in?... so I’m worried.
I wonder if it is temporary after removing the thick capsule that had settled there..
