Nose condition: no nasal bridge and a wide, bulbous nose
My goal was three places, but time was too tight, so I moved one place to another day and went to two places first.
1. ㄹㅜㅂㅡㄹㅡ - Director Yoon Consultation fee: 10,000 won The atmosphere was clean and bright, and the staff were extremely kind. Since it’s a famous clinic, even making a reservation wasn’t easy... haha
When I explained my desired nose to the director, he pinpointed the key points and explained them well. I could feel that he was very confident about the surgery, so I trusted him. For materials, he said that because my nose is very low, it would be good to use donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage as well. The before-and-after photos of the nose lines were so pretty, but I wondered whether such a glamorous nose would suit my face, plus the price was expensive... Because of that, I hesitated and left for now. The director had charisma, so it felt like I would end up following exactly what was decided.
2. ㅂㅏㄴㅏㄴㅏ - Director Choi Consultation fee: none The place had a cute vibe, and on the iPad background there was a quokka holding a banana lol A vlog review by staff who had surgery was playing on the clinic TV, so I watched that and then went into the consultation.
They asked if I had a nose shape I wanted, so I showed photos. They said it could be done with septal cartilage, but if the septal cartilage is small, costal cartilage would need to be used. They can take a photo of the septal cartilage size in the operating room and use costal cartilage if it’s insufficient, but when I thought costal cartilage felt a bit burdensome, they said that based on the CT, it didn’t seem like it would be severely insufficient.. and that I didn’t need to worry too much. The price was within my budget, and overall I liked the consultation. They said if I contact them a week before surgery, they would give a full refund, so I thought about it, but since I plan to look around more places, I just left for now.
The price was much higher at 1, and looking at the before-and-after photos, 1 felt a bit more glamorous. 2 felt somewhere between glamorous and naturally glamorous.. I think that line would suit my face better, but I plan to look around more and decide on a clinic!
