Before <before surgery> After <4 months after surgery> After <4 months after surgery> After <4 months after surgery> Time really flies, I can’t believe it has already been 4 months since I had breast surgery..... Even when I posted a review at 2 months, I had written a post full of fear + worry + impatience about breast surgery, but as I gradually get close to 6 months, I feel like both my body and mind are entering a stable phase haha..
My original breasts were a realistic AA cup.. and my upper body was thin too, so when I wore thin tops, I did look somewhat flat.
I had heard that if you don’t have much of your own breast tissue, it’s hard to make natural-looking breasts, so I worried a lot about the size too. But during the consultation, I listened to the director’s explanation for almost an hour and thought it over carefully, so I think I chose a size that suits my body well.
The implants were Motiva, and the size was 335 cc! I don’t have asymmetrical breasts, so the same size went in on both sides, and fortunately the size is the same and the symmetry is good too.
What was really surprising is that before surgery, during the consultation, honestly I thought it made sense that they would spend an hour with me.. but here, every time I went for a progress check, the director looked after just me carefully for a long time. I heard there are hospitals where you barely get to see the director after surgery, but because they responded to me like this, I was gradually able to focus more on recovery than on worrying!
The hardest point was at one month haha.. I was wearing a corrective bra because of upper fullness, and maybe because I had the axillary incision, even lifting my arms to dry my hair was a bit hard. Still, after one month, the skin tightness is almost gone and the upper fullness comes down a lot, so you don’t have to wear the corrective bra! Since breast surgery is all about enduring it, I don’t think you need to be overly anxious and worried in the early stage.
After surgery, I wanted a full C or D cup, and although the cup differs slightly depending on the underwear brand, I’m mostly wearing a D cup with room to spare! Because my band size is small compared with my breast size, it’s surprisingly not easy to find good underwear? ....ㅠㅠ I’d be so grateful if everyone here who wears a D cup could recommend underwear brands haha..
The feel has gotten much better than in the early period after surgery, and when I lie on my side or try lying face down, it falls pretty naturally.
It has only been 4 months, so it probably won’t feel exactly like real breasts yet, but with this level of softness and shape, I’m expecting it to look even more natural when I reach 1 year! If I don’t forget, I’ll definitely come back and tell you how the feel has changed at 6 months or when it has been a year haha
