First of all, my eyes were what people call extremely difficult eyes ㅠ.ㅠ They say the more you touch the eyes, the harsher your impression gets, but my eyes were very uneven, I had sausage-like double eyelids too, and in many ways I had a severe complex about my eyes. I thought that if I failed again this time, I’d just live with it... maybe I’m just someone with no luck when it comes to plastic surgery ㅠㅠ I think I had a really hard time emotionally all this while ㅠㅠ
Since I was doing it anyway, I also got my hooked nose, which had been bothering me, done together. For my nose, I asked them to shave down the hump and make it glamorous to a degree that suited my face, but still rounded!
If you look at the before photos, you can see that my eyes were really uneven, right? My nose wasn’t originally low either, but the hump was pretty noticeable. Since it was a revision surgery, my eyes swelled a lot, so I was anxious and all, but as time passed and the swelling went down, I felt relieved. Such a relief...
I loved my nose from the moment the splint came off. Even though my whole face was very swollen, it didn’t look crooked when the splint was removed. Around 3 weeks in, most of the major swelling had gone down, so I think I was able to wear makeup and go out without any issues.
Don’t you really feel like my impression has changed? More than anything, I love that I no longer stare at my eyes for ages every time I look in the mirror. I feel much less stressed too. In the past, I used to draw thick eyeliner somehow to make my double eyelids look thinner, so my makeup looked heavy, but now even with light makeup, my features look defined without looking too much, so I’m satisfied.
They also smoothed and refined my nose nicely haha Surgery was definitely not an easy decision, but as of now, I’m satisfied. Above all, I think it turned out well without any discomfort when breathing, and I feel that’s the biggest relief!
