Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

5 weeks after nose removal

After<5-week side view after removal>After<5-week front view after removal>It’s already been 5 weeks since I had removal surgery to take out the silicone + donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage :) Time seems to go by fast. A lot of people were curious about my progress, so I’m writing a short review! First, I don’t have any functional discomfort, I can breathe well, and my nose feels light. From weeks 2~3, the nasal tip started becoming firm and hard, so I’m in the contraction phase. There’s been no change in shape such as lifting at all, and the nasal tip is seriously as hard as a stone from scar tissue + contraction ㅠㅠ So the side profile is fairly okay, but from the front it looks thick because of the scar tissue, so it feels a bit spread out and blunt. I think this will only look slim like my original nose again after a lot of time passes, the tissue fully recovers, and the scar tissue softens a lot! Anyway, I’m doing really well haha Of course, I do get stressed when I look in the mirror because of the chubby nasal tip, but it’s just the kind of stress that sits in everyday life, and I’m living with the thought that it’ll get better with time! In my case, I’ve had removal surgery twice, so even though I’d already gone through the first removal, when it actually came time to remove it again, I was so scared ...ㅠㅠㅠ So I came into this community day and night and searched through every review one by one, so I really understand how people who are struggling feel. My review may not be much, but I hope it helps -! I sincerely hope everyone’s difficult time passes quickly, and that you can soon return to a happy everyday life again :)
