A few years later, severe inflammation developed in most of my upper teeth, and after talk of extraction and so on, I ended up getting root canal treatment on 5 upper teeth;;; Before going to White, my teeth were very healthy Anyway, afterward I even went to Transparent Dental, but then the clinic suddenly disappeared;;
After that I went to a local clinic, but I wasn’t very satisfied. Then this time the back side of my upper teeth broke again, and after leaving it alone for a bit, it started hurting... I went to a dental clinic near Hongdae, and they said the condition was bad and the color was different on every tooth, so they recommended replacing everything. I looked into another dental clinic, and they said the same thing...
After thinking it over, I put down a reservation deposit at the Hongdae dental clinic, but while I happened to mention it to an acquaintance, they told me to try this clinic, so I went. The opinions were similar, but there was one difference. At the Hongdae-side dental clinic where I had put down a deposit, they said I should redo root canal treatment on my upper teeth, but here they said that when teeth that had already had root canal treatment were touched again, the outcome was very likely not good. Of course, it may have been because my tooth condition was bad...
There may be various reasons, but they did not push excessively, and communication with the doctor was very good. It was neither the excessive kindness you see in Gangnam nor unkindness; it was calm and scholarly in style. The biggest thing was that they empathized with my concern that this time I really wanted it to be the last treatment I would carry for life. It wasn’t that I simply wanted that.. my tooth condition is a situation where I have to be very careful. (Laminates or all-ceramic crowns that have already been touched cannot last a lifetime All you can do is manage them so they last as long as possible..) And they explained possible future situations, just in case, at a level I could accept. The doctor had experience seeing former White patients, so they also knew that White patients had a lot of tooth reduction. In a case like mine, functional aspects had to be considered before aesthetics, so experience with difficult conditions and academic knowledge were also extremely important parts of choosing a clinic.
In conclusion, I gave up the reservation deposit at the Hongdae dental clinic and replaced all 6 upper teeth here. Because of panic disorder, if my stress or tension rises, I get restless and cannot breathe well, and in my case, dental treatment 100% always brings on panic, so I safely finished it well under sleep sedation with conscious sedation. As expected, White had severely reduced my teeth, and they said there was almost no original tooth left Afterward, I also had scaling and cavity treatment here, and at that time I did fine with local anesthesia. Maybe because I came to trust that they would not harm my body, I stopped getting nervous. Even local anesthesia injections are terrifying, but they pricked lightly and gradually numbed more, taking great care of fragile me I really don’t think I have experienced many anesthesia injections that hurt that little.
My upper teeth turned out very pretty, but because the upper teeth look naturally pretty, the lower laminates looked too much like artificial plastic, so it bothered me My lower teeth are also not in very good condition, so I’m planning to replace all of them here around April too.
