Before surgery, I worked hard going around for in-person consultations, but there weren't many places that matched the style I wanted, and after thinking it over, I had surgery at the place I chose! First of all, when I had the consultation with the director, the kindness was a big factor, but they also focused on the style and direction I had originally wanted and the shape I wanted, and set the design direction to suit me.
Honestly, after surgery, the most uncomfortable part was being in the state with cotton packing and a splint, and I didn't really have any particular pain! I kept having my condition checked when I visited for follow-ups, and managed the swelling only with compresses and walking. After removing the splint, I could noticeably see the swelling going down, and as the nasal tip that had been lifted early on came down little by little, it felt overall slimmer. I don't have a bulbous nose, but my nasal tip lacked support, and my nostrils/alar area had a strong thick-looking feel.. Compared with my eyes, which have a strong presence, my nose also felt plain, and I was worried about what style I should go for, but after doing my nose, I feel like I finally found a shape that suits me.
