It has been a little over a month since I had my nose surgery after going through before-before-after-after-after stages. My nose drooped a lot, so when photos were taken of my side profile while smiling, it looked serious. I had been thinking I should get rhinoplasty, and decided to do it right away during this school break. I went to 5 consultations, and among them I chose D-Day Plastic Surgery because they explained the surgical method the most kindly and gave a reasonable recommendation.
Nasal tip, shaved the hump, long nose correction, and 3.5 mm for the nasal bridge.
After the splint was removed, nothing was that difficult, and I didn’t swell especially badly, so I went around without much discomfort.
I’m happiest that my arrow nose improved, but I also really like that my side line now extends straight. It doesn’t look obviously done, but the effect isn’t minimal either. I’m satisfied because I think it came out about as well as I had expected. My parents, who had said something when I said I was getting surgery, also said they think I did well.
