I had it done around 2016. Because I don’t live in Seoul, I had a KakaoTalk consultation right away, then visited immediately, had a brief consultation the same day, and got the surgery. My aegyo-sal almost disappeared on one side, and because the aegyo-sal disappeared, the support under my eyes disappeared too, so my eyes became sanpaku/four-white eyes. After several years passed, fortunately(?) my eyes drooped, so they only sometimes look like sanpaku eyes now. I also had fat grafting to my eyelids, but it calcified and came out bulging. I looked like some kind of bulldog. That area is still there even now.
When I called and asked, they said it would be okay after time passed, so I didn’t make any further complaint. Because even if I complained, it wasn’t as if feedback would come back to me. I deliberately went there because it was said to be famous, and at that time, on a Naver cafe called Powder Room, they also had a board in the form of a sponsored(?) hospital, so I trusted them. The price was also twice that of other hospitals. I remember it was close to 2.5 million won.
Other places are probably similar too. Some hospitals do well, and even if you go somewhere famous, there are people like me who end up with bad results. I don’t think there’s any guarantee that a place will do well just because it’s famous or expensive.
