I’ll write an honest review of getting nose surgery without implants. I’m still embarrassed, so please understand that I can’t upload photos yet. People around me did say, “Your nose is already high, why are you doing it?” and tried to stop me, but I have my own direction for the aesthetic value I’m pursuing lol. I had a slight hump, so even though my nose was high, I didn’t like the line from the side. I did the legwork to find a place good at implant-free rhinoplasty and had it done at a place called ㅈㅅ. My main criterion for choosing a hospital was focusing on a place with a lot of know-how and experience, and where many cases had accumulated, especially for implant-free surgery. After going to consultations, it was about 7 saying I needed silicone and 3 saying implant-free would be enough. But I have quite a few friends around me who have had multiple revision rhinoplasties due to contracture or inflammation, so even though silicone would make it more dramatic!! fear coexisted with that, so I made the big decision to do it without implants lol. My face shape is slim, so I was worried that if I made it too flashy I’d look too artificial. I asked the director to just make the line straight-to-slightly-curved, and even though it hasn’t been long since surgery, the hump is completely gone and the line turned out incredibly well despite being implant-free. The director said at first that since my nose was already quite high, it could turn out flashy, and just like they said, even though we only adjusted the hump and line, the change is huge lol. Since it’s implant-free, I’m so happy to have the nose I had pictured without worrying about side effects lol.
