I had rhinoplasty 8 years ago, no, now that the year has changed, 9 years ago, at a large hospital that was pretty popular at the time. At some point, my nose suddenly became crooked and the skin on the nasal tip got tight. I didn't know what shape the silicone inside my nose was, but later I was told it was L-shaped silicone. They said the reason the tip of my nose felt tight was that the L-shaped silicone was slightly lifted away inside the nose and was pulling on the nasal tip skin, causing the tightness. After going to a few revision rhinoplasty consultations, I found that smaller clinics gave more detailed consultations than big hospitals and examined my nose more carefully. So I didn't want a clinic that used an entire building and things like that, and I had it done at a one-doctor clinic, D-Day Plastic Surgery. Thankfully, I think it turned out well. I've been doing fine without issues up to 6 months now. First of all, it's not crooked, and the nose height is good too. Since the nasal tip skin had been under tension for a long time, they suggested lowering the silicone slightly, so it was lowered from 4 mm to 3 mm. I also had alar reduction surgery at the same time. The nasal tip was done with donated costal cartilage. Since my nose became abnormal 8 years after my first rhinoplasty, I think I'll keep feeling anxious going forward, but I really hope it stays just as it looks now. After this review, I don't plan to come into this community much anymore. I keep looking at all sorts of things, and when I see posts about side effects from rhinoplasty, it makes me sad and anxious. I really hope this nose lasts my whole life without any problems.
