I chose incision because I heard it comes undone less than buried suture, but over time, rather than coming undone, the line dropped and a secondary crease formed above it. As the secondary crease formed, I felt my eyes looked loose.
My left eye only had the line lowered, and my right eye developed a secondary crease, so in the end the eye size and lines were slightly different. Because of this, I decided I should have revision surgery, and since my eyes are on the round side, I also looked into nostril reduction because I wanted my nose to have a slightly rounder feel too.
At the clinic, I had consultations in the order of consultant-director-consultant. Since I had already had incision surgery and had a secondary crease, they said going in by incision would fix it more securely. I told them I didn’t want to change the line much and only wanted to correct the secondary crease, and for my nose, rather than making it higher, I asked for it to look round and to lift just the tip a little because the nasal tip looked bulbous.
Since it was my second surgery, I wasn’t especially worried, and I only wanted to fix the secondary crease. Now I think it turned out well, and what I’m most satisfied with is that my eyes don’t look sleepy or weak as they relax. Until one week, the swelling went down so well that while getting the stitches removed I asked the director if it might become an inner double eyelid, and they said that because I had ptosis correction, I could consider the chance of it becoming an inner double eyelid to be almost none. I’ve even let go of that last worry.
They said I can wear makeup, but it would still be better to wait about a week before doing it, so I’m thinking of seriously making plans starting next week.
Since it was eyes and nose, I thought the price would be quite high, and I was curious about the usual price, so I joined a community and went around asking for information, but I’m glad I got it done without it being expensive.
