Review of Revision Eye Surgery at Eyecontact Plastic Surgery

Huhuhuhu. 9 years ago, I wanted a natural line, so I had double eyelid surgery with epicanthoplasty and an inline line at another hospital. But as a lot of time passed, the double eyelid line gradually became thinner, and people even saw me as having “monolids,” so during my leave from work, I urgently decided on revision surgery and started searching. I thought “revision double eyelid surgery” would be a whole different field, so I focused on places that specialize in it. I looked at hospital reviews, introductions, and the directors’ credentials, and since I had to come up from outside Seoul, I coordinated the consultation schedules and received consultations at a total of 3 places. In the end, I had surgery with Director Lee Seok-hyun at Eyecontact Plastic Surgery. First of all, location-wise, it is in Gangnam Station, which feels like the mecca of plastic surgery, and among the 3 places, I liked the hospital atmosphere, facilities, and consultation system the most. During the consultation with the director, I already felt his skill from the way he set the direction well, so after thinking it over, I decided to have revision surgery at Eyecontact with an in-out line and epicanthoplasty. I didn’t have much time to spare, but they adjusted the schedule as much as possible. I was nervous because it had been a long time since I had surgery, but everything proceeded step by step from surgery preparation to the end of surgery. After surgery, I recovered well, woke up, and safely took an express bus home by myself. This time, too, I had surgery using the incision method, but from the day of surgery there wasn’t much major swelling, and there were no inflammatory reactions or side effects. I took my medicine and applied ointment well, and although it was hard not being able to wash properly, those times of endurance passed, and now I can wash freely and go around here and there without issues. It has only been a little over 1 month, so the line still needs to settle more, but I’m satisfied because I feel like they did it well enough that there won’t be any more revision surgeries. I’m hoping it becomes even more natural by the time I visit the hospital again in February~
