I've had double-eyelid surgery twice by incisional method, but both times the folds came undone, so I'm hoping this will be my last surgery. After doing a ton of online research, I'm now going around for in-person consultations. So far, I've been to two clinics.
1. Clinic A - Doctor D There was no consultation fee. I had an appointment, but it took about an hour before I had the consultation with the consultant first, then waited about 20 more minutes before I could see the director, and afterward I met the consultant again. At the end, while I was consulting with the consultant, she said she had called the director over, so I waited about another 10 minutes. The total time was about 2 hours The consultation focused a lot on preventing the fold from coming undone, and he spoke honestly. He said that if I were unlucky, it could come undone the way a traffic accident can happen. But he said the probability was just low. Since when I lower my gaze, only one side opens in that kind of way, he said I should take into account that ptosis correction could make it look more open. I trusted him because he honestly caught and explained the problem. I went in wanting a semi-out line, and the line he designed was naturally pretty too. But the price... was really expensive. For double eyelid + ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty, with the condition of writing a review and after a discount, they quoted 5 million won. Still, the consultant was kind, and the director only pointed out exactly what was needed and seemed confident, so I trusted them. 2. Clinic B - Doctor B Here, I went in right away without waiting! After consulting with the consultant, I was able to see the director just 5 minutes later, and the consultant was so kind that I felt good. The consultant also confidently said that if I was looking for a semi-out line, she would recommend their clinic. When I asked the director whether it would come undone, he said the probability of it coming undone was low, and the line he designed was also glamorously pretty! It felt a bit more dramatic than the clinic above! Also, the clinic above said that if I proceed with an in-out line, I wouldn't need upper epicanthoplasty, but here they recommended upper epicanthoplasty even for an in-out line if I wanted to improve the stuffy look and the squared-off look of my eyes, so I felt I could trust this place for becoming prettier too haha. The director also didn't overtreat and was kind. Here, for incision + ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty, with the condition of writing a review, they quoted 3.8 million won! Of course, 3.8 million won was under the condition of same-day booking!
