Nose Surgery Reviews

I had nose surgery without implants

My nose was too large compared to my face, and I had a drooping, arrow-shaped nasal tip with a hump nose. Because of my nose, my face looked much older, and every time I looked in the mirror I could only see my nose, so it stressed me out So I had consultations at several clinics, and I liked the consultation with Director Yoon In-mo the most. He was already famous for being good at noses, so I went in with expectations, but the consultation was even more satisfying than expected, and he accurately caught the areas I wanted, so I decided on him.

It’s only been 3 weeks since the surgery now, but I’m so happy that the arrow-shaped nose that stressed me out the most has changed. I wasn’t looking for a flashy nose, so I think it came out naturally, and I really like the side profile too haha.

Days 1-2 On the day the surgery ended, I was so tired that I think I just kept sleeping. From day 1, it started to hurt a bit, my ears throbbed too, and my face was so swollen that I couldn’t even open my eyes properly. Because there was cotton packing in my nose, breathing was really uncomfortable. The most uncomfortable thing was not being able to sleep properly. When I fell asleep, I would habitually close my mouth and couldn’t breathe, so I kept waking up... I think my swelling was more severe than other people’s.

Day 3 When I went to the clinic, had the cotton removed, and got disinfected, I felt like I could live again. The pain had also settled down a lot by then. Because of swelling inside the nose, even after the cotton was removed it didn’t feel completely open and refreshing, but I was just grateful that I could breathe.

In my opinion, it seems to be divided into before and after cotton removal haha. Before that, it’s so painful and hard, but once the cotton is removed, recovery feels really fast and the swelling also goes down quickly... I think you just need to endure that period when the cotton is in. I was curious because I couldn’t check the nose shape until the splint came off, but when I saw it after removing the splint, it was set a bit higher than I wanted, and when I looked at the front view, it didn’t look different from before surgery, so I was flustered. But that was because of swelling, and now that it’s been about 3 weeks, the front view is gradually getting slimmer too, and the side profile came out exactly in the line I wanted, so I felt happy haha. Even before surgery, my nose was a bit deviated, so after surgery it does look a little more deviated, but there’s still a lot of swelling left, so I think I need to keep watching it haha.
