Review after cheekbone (side + 45-degree) surgery

@Reason I decided on surgery - I had always disliked my cheekbones, but when I lost a lot of weight from enteritis, I realized my cheekbones were really prominent. @Reason I chose the clinic - Someone I know had it done here, and the reviews were good. I liked that the director performs the surgery himself and that it uses an intraoral incision. @The counseling manager neatly and quickly told me only what I wanted to know, and maybe because the director has done this a lot, he seemed confident that it would go well. @Things that were uncomfortable after surgery - First of all, whether general anesthesia or sedation, it was my first time having anesthesia or surgery, so I was a little nervous, but it was better than I expected. I was in the recovery room for about two hours, by my feeling, and then discharged / The pain level was not as painful as I thought. The swelling was about what I expected. If you search for a dog stung by a bee, you can think of the white dog as day-2 swelling and the brown dog as first-day swelling. The hardest part was not so much the cheekbone area but inside my mouth, especially my throat, which hurt so much. Like my throat was being torn?̊̈ At first, my voice would not come out either. On the second day, about 80% of the pain was gone, but my throat hurt the same. Blood + phlegm came from my nose, so I had to sniff and spit it out through my mouth.. This process made my throat hurt more. From the third day, the throat pain and pain were almost gone. *On the fourth day, I removed the tape on the cheekbone area and got a slight wound.. I do not know whether the tape had been applied too strongly or whether it happened during removal. (The doctor who removed the tape did do it gently.)* @Inconveniences in daily life - Not being able to open my mouth, discomfort when brushing because of the intraoral incision, discomfort when eating, and it is inconvenient because I have to keep wearing the compression band. (They said I do not have to tighten it too much when wearing the compression band. They said it can actually make the front swell and make the swelling last longer.) That is about it. @Improvements after surgery - Of course, my cheekbones became slimmer. On day 4, after removing the tape and with some swelling gone, I can clearly see that my side line has become smoother. I think it will look even slimmer once the cheek swelling completely goes down. I am looking forward to it!
