Before surgery, I joined a community and kept going in and out diligently, just lurking. I stopped by after a long time. It’s now almost 4 months since my surgery. Before surgery, my nose was a bulbous nose with a twisted nasal tip that made my nostrils show, a low nasal bridge, and overall it was a small nose. I did a lot of online research through this community and other plastic surgery cafes, and after visiting many clinics in person and thinking it over, I finally managed to decide on the clinic for surgery. Choosing the clinic was the hard part; once I decided, I just scheduled the surgery date well and everything proceeded smoothly. Right after surgery, the swelling was less than I expected, and the bruising wasn’t severe either. I think postoperative swelling is not that bad if the director is a veteran. Of course, it may also vary by person. Since I had a small, low bulbous nose, I worried whether the surgery would turn out well, but I think the line came out nicely and naturally. Before surgery, I had low confidence about my nose, but now I’m bursting with confidence even when walking around without a mask.
