If I had known a place like this existed when I first did it, I would have looked into things a lot before going ahead.... I think I took plastic surgery too lightly.
About 6-7 years ago, a friend said they had plastic surgery, so I met them and was having a drink, and after seeing how much prettier they had become, I asked them to introduce me, got referred, and went for a consultation. Well, even now my self-esteem is low, but back then it was so low that I think I postponed the appointment several times before going.
I remember going for the first consultation and just making a reservation right away. At first, I went to get my eyes done, but I also got a consultation for my nose, and the surgery day approached. The day before surgery, I packed a hat, mask, and sunglasses at home and headed to the hospital on the day.
As those who know nose surgery already know, it was done under sedation anesthesia, and after surgery they explained this and that, but nothing they said went into my ears ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Three days after surgery, they told me to come in to remove the cotton packed in my nose, so I went to get it removed. Once it was out, wow, I felt like I could live. For 3 days I could only breathe through my mouth and thought this was not something a person should have to do, but once it came out I thought, this is manageable? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
A week after surgery, I went to have either the stitches or the splint removed, and I think I started living somewhat normally from then. I started walking around more confidently after about two weeks, and before that I wore a hat when going around.
As the swelling went down, my self-esteem rose a bit. But people around me kept saying, “Didn't you make your nose too high?” and “Your nose looks upturned,” so between 3 and 5 months, I called the hospital and asked if it could be lowered a bit, set a date, and they performed an after-service revision.
But the problem started then. After the second surgery, my nose definitely became a bit lower than the first time, but the nostrils were raised, so my nose kept looking upturned, and the surgical scar under my nose remained so clearly that even I could see it.... ha...
As of 2022, I am looking into revision surgery.
This time, I want to research a lot before going ahead, so I found and joined this community. I look forward to your help.
