Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> I had a minimal-incision SMAS lifting procedure at a clinic last Saturday.
Surgery at 4 o'clock on Monday the 6th
After it was done, I didn't feel anything, it didn't hurt, and it just felt like I was wearing a compression band?
It still doesn't feel real yet, and it's actually better than when I had thread lifting. Before surgery, I had another consultation with the doctor, and the operating room felt very stable too. On one wall of the operating room, they had large photos of my face from before surgery, left, right, front, and with my chin lifted, and it seemed like they performed the procedure while looking at them to suit my face, so I felt reassured and thought the system was well set up. It was my first time seeing an operating room like that.
At night, my temple area started to hurt little by little..
It's bearable, but not enough to fall asleep comfortably.
I guess I have to endure it to get prettier, right? haha
After a day passed, the pain was almost gone.
I think the temple area is a bit more swollen..
I saw reviews saying you start looking like a flatfish, and that's exactly it.
Day 3.. I went to work, and after moving around a bit, the swelling seemed to go down.
I'm sweating, so I want to wash my hair..ㅠㅠ
My jawline has really become so slim, and the deep cheek fat seems to be gone too.
When I got home, the temple swelling was back again, so I'm using an ice pack to reduce the swelling.
Day 5, I became a flatfish.. My temples are still wrinkly.
Personally, I could open my mouth just as well as before surgery.
I got a little bruising, but it's yellow, so it doesn't stand out.
I finally got the stitches removed. The skin is puckered, but they said this will loosen within a month. They also said the swelling will noticeably decrease from now on.
They said my eyes looking pulled upward will resolve together with the skin puckering, so I think I need to patiently wait for a month. The jawline and lifting really went up dramatically. As the doctor said, if the temple swelling and skin puckering go away within a month, I'll be really satisfied..
