A while ago, after rhinoplasty, I posted about my deviated septum, difficulty breathing, and not being able to inhale through my nose. I was threatened by a lawyer that they would sue me if I didn’t take the post down, and today I got a call from the police station. They said a complaint had been filed. After posting, I went back to the hospital and met the doctor, but it was still just robotic, roundabout words, not a single examination, and when I said the cartilage at the tip of my nose keeps coming down to the right, they only said it was unfortunate and kept repeating that it had been handed over to the insurance company. The insurance company has not contacted me either. Right after the surgery, they confidently said it went well, and while there was swelling, I also thought it had gone well, so I even introduced two people around me for consultations. But now they say my nose originally had a lot of problems. They say that because I signed a contract as a promotional model for plastic surgery reviews, everything I post is illegal. I haven’t even confirmed that clause yet. My photos are not being used for promotion anywhere. It’s not as if they donated their talent to me, so what am I supposed to do if they say it’s unfortunate? Can that really be all a plastic surgery doctor, who performs cosmetic procedures, says so irresponsibly? There are pre-surgery images at the imaging center, so I took new images and have requested an image interpretation, but honestly I can only sigh. When a patient has serious surgical side effects, they hush it up and soothe them, then behind the scenes calm them down, reach a settlement, and the lawyer wraps it up. But since I’m supposedly not at that level, is responding by filing a complaint like this really the right way to handle it? Is writing about my frustration like this really something that deserves legal punishment? If they see this post, I guess they’ll contact me again. Right? Lawyer?
