The surgery took about 2 and a half hours. Before sedation, they said they would harvest ear cartilage, so they did local anesthesia on my ear and I think they removed the ear cartilage for about 15 minutes. The crunching sound while they were taking the ear cartilage was insane ㅠㅠ From the start, I don't sleep well, so I expected I might wake up from sedation, but I ended up waking up about 1 hour after the sedation. Maybe because I talked so much with the doctor during the remaining hour, I didn't have any anesthesia dizziness after the surgery.
But seriously, I thought I was going to die during the suturing. I could feel every bit of pain, like the thread was piercing through, and it really hurt so much. The most painful part was when the doctor put gauze into my nose to drain the blood and pressed really hard. That hurt the most. I think it happened about 3 times.
It was my first surgery, and I don't think I could ever do it again...
